Suggested design and wireframe for a web application that allows hairstylists—certified through Sebastian’s educational program— to manage and share class certifications to their professional and social networks. Web application syncs with Mozilla’s Open Badges API.
A dual purpose was also proposed for the web application: to serve as a centralized database for its hairstylist and educator community nationwide, by aggregating user accounts and information collected when users set up their profiles. This improves on the antiquated system of not handing out printed paper certificates after each class to hairstylists.
