New identity, photography and website for the launch of Ellen DeGeneres’ skincare brand, Kind Science. Visual identity and photography was kept clean, minimal, yet joyous and playful, to align with Ellen’s overall brand ecosystem. Photography was initially envisioned with lush, verdant botanicals to lean into the brand’s plant-forward, benefit-driven story—but was eventually pared back. Rich, decadent textures and product closeups add to lush-ness of the product experience, while still highlighting product benefits.
Due to budget constraints, model photography that was previously shot had to be integrated seamlessly with the new vis ID and photography.
